I am tired, tired of watching us play that stupid zone defense. I am personally not a big fan of it, i prefer to stick to my own man.

For example, tonight, the Grizz got tons of open shots, our guys don't know how to recover back to find the guy that's open to make him not open. Tracy, as usual, lets guys blow by him for a lay-up. Whenever Yao was in there, they drove less, obviously, but when he's out, they are just getting lay-ups after lay-ups. We either need to play man again, or find someone tall and can block/make shots. Mutombo can blcok, but we all saw how hard it is for him to put the ball in the hole.
This is not a rant, i am just saying...the defense we are running right now, aint running right...or its just me..is it?

    i wanna hear yalls opinions...

So you're saying t-mac can't stay in front of his man, and your solution is to play MAN TO MAN?

That's the absolute worst thing you could do. t-mac will get exposed twice as much now.

    Our zone is interesting.

I was taught that you play zone to lock down the pain and force opponents to shoot from the outside.

Adelman's zone is giving up EASY LAYUPS...

Grizzlies was hitting shots after shots, after that when we started to close them they just blew past us to the paint. We don't have any answer. Plus our offense didn't roll as it is supposed to

yao isn't hakeem, he can't erase all the mistakes if t-mac keeps letting his man walks past by him

T-mac was bad on defense. But from tonights post you would think he was the only one bad on defense tonight which isn't true.

Mayo lit up whoever was guarding him tonight.

Darko was getting easy dunks and layups in the 1st half.

Warrick was getting easy dunk and layups all game long.

But yes all that was T-mac's fault apparently.

This team is better off with someone like Michael Redd or Joe Johnson rather than Tmac. Fool can't shoot anymore!!

When you have another maker, he simply take shots away from Yao, the most efficient player on the team. I mean if Tmac is a good high percentage shooter, i don't mind about that..but the fact of the matter is...he sucks!! Along with Rafer. We rather have someone like Redd or Johnson to surround Yao than Tmac. It's time to get rid of the term 1-2 como or the big 3...cuz it ain't working with Yao.

i find this funny too. cmon adelman. youre supposed to pack the paint with a zone. and youre supposed to have your BEST INTERIOR DEFENDER in there. if youre gonna risk outside shots, you have to offset that by making sure they dont score INSIDE.

good for you YAOOnlyFAn. Since 1-2 combo and big 3dont work for you, maybe we could trade Yao? Maybe the rox will play better without a slow, unathletic, clumsy low post player clogging up the paint? and get that high post passing center adelman desperately wants? im sure that would work too.

Our defense was slow to rotate and help on the week side. Our defense lost the game tonight. At times it looked like they were lost. Frustrating :(

I would see tmac out, out of our ratation, Adelman dont need this guy to play, he breaks our offense, and make less effort on defence, tmac sucks. Dont be cheated by this guy.

Rockets 1-3 Grizz, a terrible record, why we always lose to the bad teams? When Yao was in foul-trouble, we have nobody to help us, Scola maybe the best at this period.
