http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7...ites-poor-relationship-gm-reason-trade-demand 1) Demands a trade 2) Disses the GM 3) Complained about not being involved in trade/free agency/FO moves Pretty much a repeat of the TMac debacle in 04. What is up with Orlando and losing its superstars?
LOL at Dwight being the GM.. LeBron was basically the GM of the Cavs the last 3 years, look what happened then?
They did a terrible job of building around Dwight. You have to give a Center like that a legit perimeter player that can be a playmaker. He was surrounded by shooters.
I think there was a bit more the to T-Mac mess before he demanded the trade. But using the term "pulling a T-Mac" is probably appropriate.
Not possible, Dwight Howard took the Magic to the NBA Finals, therefore it's impossible for him to pull a T mac!
It's too bad. In hindsight, they had an opportunity to draft Danny Granger in 2005, though no one at the time thought he would turn into the very nice SF he is today.
lol yeah, that season that shet for them. Didn't they lose like 19 games in a row or something like that. And the Tmac's like F this I want a trade
Dwight is doing the right thing, so that the Magic can get something back for him. The douchiest move was what Lebron did to Cleveland. He didn't say anything about leaving until the last day, and Cleveland got nothing back. He also went missing in the playoffs. (Delonte :grin Tracy just stopped playing in the middle of the season.
Shooters are fine. That's basically what Hakeem was surrounded with in 03. The real problem was that you can't have a shooter at the 4 spot too and that's what happened with Lewis.
If I was Dwight Howard, I would quit on my team too. He's still blessed to play in the easiest era for centers..
He is pulling a T-Mac... And a Lebron.. And a Bosh.. And a Carmelo.. And a Shaq.. And a Francis (kinda).. And a (Insert a crap load of star players)
So he's the one who surrounded himself with such superstars as Illguskas, Varejao, Drew Gooden, and Larry Hughes. Then he bailed when he realized those players such collectively? I smell GM of the Year in Lebron's future.
they were tanking, deliberately losing 83-84 rockets style. There was nothing for him to quit on, they simply didn't want to win.
