Many feel he is the true "anti-christ" complete with supernatural luck, decision-making, and uncanny motivational capability...

...His nation's "blitzkrieg" attack method was terrorizing in itself...The Germans military machine was unbelievable...The carnage of innocent civilians ran in the tens of millions...He intimidated and bullied the world like no other...Terrorism, was not something he invented, but he embraced it with zeal like no one before...He oversaw wicked genetic mutation experiments, and sewed innocent childrens' back together, just to record the results...His scientific team invented biological warfare...His self-proclaimed 1000-year reign relied on the advantages of terror...

...and the fact is, they were right behind us, in fact a split second behind us on building an atomic bomb...I sincerely feel the help of the Almighty was needed to have stopped the true diabolical evil that Hitler was to the world...

...Well you know all that and more like the back of your hand, but I want to add something of a residue-type effect to the lingering effects of the terror he has imprinted and that is at the very least, the consequential aggravation which has led to the result of the terroristic ideology we have today...

I may be talking out of my you know what, and I don't fully affirm to this idea, but I think it's at least worth reflecting on...I want to suggest the consequential heritage which I attribute to Hitler...

    I. ...The end of Hitler and his regime is now realized in April of 1945, but because of how Hitler attempted to systematically wipe them out,...the Jews vow NEVER, to be without arms ever again...and the mindset is a reverance in priority towards self-defense, and the study of combat tactics and strategy (It is no coincidence that today, the Israeli special forces is considered world class top notch)...Israel is realized and the once peace and tree-hugging attitude of the Jews, has been askewed due to Hitler and his evil deeds...The nature of conflict is changed...Israel now can handle it's enemie's will by the sword mightily rather than the word...The (minority) extremist-Muslims are filled with hate and hateful deeds, and you know what the worst part is? The religion is the bottom line and the fabric of idealism, love and even hate is due to the religion which is aggravated even further by the proximity to religious land-based significance...

The extremity of wicked Muslim thought is bred on hate, and hate grows to the children, which in turn grows more, when religion is so dominant in the family culture...The United States is religion based from it's beginning and the association of christianity, versus the muslim faith is feverent on resentment and ideal...So, the openess of the United States is looked on with further resentment when trade and friendly diplomacy is based on a commonality, and it is this commonality that is so loathesome to those who feel their essence is based on intolerance such as the Muslim extremists...

I am not saying the correlation I have conjured up is absolute, but I feel the abrasion of religious intolerance, by those who have wickedly manipulated interpretation of the religion is a result of stupidity, ignorance, and even evil...and if the basis of today's terroristic process is based on anything it is just that intolerance,...but I feel Hitler imprinted the sword when the word may have been the long term solution...

History is like a mathematic formula -- you don't invent math formulas, you discover them. Hitler's tactics weren't invented, he was just the first to implement them.

I would suggest that that is simply because that is the post WWII narrative that you have been presented by the post WWII generation, and the natural result of it's own demons.

Hitler is presented as some sort of an aberation of history when he is just the logical extention of globalization. Before Hitler was the "Great War", complete with the Sacking of Louvain in which on of the great ancient cities was burned to the ground as reprisal against snipers. This is also the war where the use of chemical weapons was created by the Germains and refined by all sides.

Stalin's purges after Lennin's death in 1924 were on a scale approaching the mass murders that Hitler commited, but were hidden behind the secrecy of the Soviet state.

The Franco-Prussian war ended with the Siege of Paris, in which the citizens of the city were forced to eat rats to survive.

You can keep going back from there. Man has always been good at using terror, inhumanity and intolerance on other human beings. The only difference is that in the modern world the episodes you speak of were a.)more recent, and therefore more in the collective memory, and b.)memorialized more thoroughly as a result of modern media methods and technologies.

It also always helps to have a face to put on evil, and Hitler's recognizable face and peculariaties make him useful as a symbol around which to rally all opposition to evil.
