I made a thread here about 3 1/2 weeks ago about if the show "lost" was worth watching.

I gave it a chance, and have been binge watching it ever since, and can honestly say that it is AMAZING. Many people commenting said it got worse as the seasons progressed (which I agree with in some ways) , not worth watching now, waste of time, etc, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Anyways, I haven't watched Heroes either, and apparently its a very good show...at least for Season 1. After that, apparently there's a large dip in quality? Is that true, or is it worth watching?

LOST is worth the the hassle, but let me tell you Heroes is definitely NOT. I say if you can stomach it past season 2 by all means suffer through season 3 and just donate season 4 to a soup kitchen.

Lost is a complete waste of time for sure

Heroes, season 1, is better than anything lost ever did. But you can absolutely walk away after that. I actually don't think season 2 is as bad as some say, but it ultimately leads nowhere because seasons 3 and 4 are so terrible. But season 1 is a fantastic watch

    Yes.

The show completely fell apart after Fuller left.

Yes. It is a complete waste.

Lost is one of the best shows ever made imho.

This. LOST middled around in the middle (Season 3: Nikki and Paulo) when the network wanted the series to go indefinitely while the showrunners wanted an end date to work towards. Whether you like the ending or not, the show picked back up in the 4th season once the end date was set.

Heroes really isn't worth watching after the first season. I always think of it as one of those shows that people watched because they wanted it to be good, but it never really was. And they stuck with it because they hoped it would get better, but it never really did. While the first season was OK, I don't even think it was all that great. It was a show with a lot of potential that never really got tapped. I somehow made it maybe 3 or 4 episodes into Season 4 before I gave up.

IIRC, Season 2 was really slow and a lot of people got frustrated. Season 3 picked up the pace but it still wasn't good.

I think if you watched without gathering anyone else's opinion on season 2 then you would enjoy it, or at least enough of it to where you'd be interested in season 3 (but don't). If you found yourself enjoying season 3 of Lost you can try out Heroes season 2.

I recently rewatched Heroes S1 and it is great. Season 2 was ok at the beginning but when it was apparent the writer strike was going to happen they hurried into some loose end tie ups. That caused the middle of the season to seem rushed and then when the strike was over they didn't really have anything left to work with. Season 3 tried to rely solely on plot twists, surprises and guest appearances by known actors. The plot had very little substance. Season 4 just dragged. It seemed like they could have combined and squeezed a couple of episodes together, cut out extraneous plot details and the story still would have made sense. Like the others have said definitely give 1 a watch and 2 is not bad but anything after that I'd avoid unless your really diehard.

4th season of heroes was god awful but it would have set up the next season up well if it hadn't gotten canceled

Heroes started out really well and had tons of potential.....then the writers all had some kind of traumatic brain injuries that they never recovered from. I managed to make it all the way through, but I wasn't happy about it.

The writer strike ruined Heroes as well as many other TV shows. It was a sad time.

Season 1 of Heroes was great(except for the ending)

I would skip the other seasons and pretend they don't exist.(like after Dexter season 1)

I did but it was overrated. The twist at the end didn't save the season for me. Only good thing was the Trinity Killer and his family. Everything else was meh or terrible. Dexter got too sloppy. Rita and kids got annoying. Batista + Maria love scenes were cringeworthy. Quinn doesn't add anything to the show. Don't remember anything from Deb except the whole Lundy situation.

Let's face it. We watch Dexter for Dexter, the support characters in the show dragged him down instead of complimenting him. The show really went downhill when they killed off Doakes imo

Heroes season 1 was good but lost interest after.

Dexter season 4 was amazing. You could watch it on its own and feel completely satisfied.

Luther is on Netflix, great show and a quick watch.
