Report: NBA might investigate Sixers, Rockets for James Harden’s recent claims https://www.libertyballers.com/2023...free-agency-trade-nba-tampering-investigation
Harden seems more and more toxic. He has nothing to gain from the allegations. He seems to be work off of emotions and past dealing where he didn’t get his desired outcomes. Sadly this will be his tainted legacy as a Rocket. I enjoyed watching him grow as a player, but not into the person that is portrayed to us now. Any good will looks to be gone. He may not even ware Rocket red into the hall of fame.
"11"? Where are you, Bobby? 10:00 pm. "Channel 2 KPRC.BREAKING NEWS. Cat stuck in tree. But first, James Harden takes another s*** on his former team when they finally didn't give him what he wanted."
This news involves the Rockets and could include them into an investigation. Lost of draft picks, etc.
FK BLAMES HARD-ON! worthless narcissistic m'fker... i told yall while he was still here he was a sob - but nobody wanted to hear it... 'cornerstones and roleplayers' 'those that matter dont mind and those that mind dont matter...' dude has always been a self absorbed pos... just whether or not he had Morey kissin his butt or had his lil winged monkeys like PJ around... ive said it before and ill say it again - i hope dude ends up broke and living under a bridge... his situation oughta match his look... lol
if he hadn't 'opted in' yet - was he under contract? if the player has the option to walk or opt in - is that 'under contract'? i mean there are still contractual contingencies at play... but if he's free to walk - how is that 'under contract'? obviously if he declined the additional year he'd automatically be an unrestricted free agent.... The Sixers had 0 control.... less control than if he was a restricted free agent - and free to shop his wears... he could decline and walk.... how is that under contract?
Looks like the timing of the meeting was key. If Udoka was there and he was not yet under contract, he technically did not meet with anyone from the Rockets.
Expect the NBA to bring the hammer down Spoiler and dock them a 2nd round pick. That Tilman was going to trade anyways. Joke’s on them! So there’s another subplot that I’m hoping you can speak on. We all knew that going back to Houston was a pretty serious possibility for you if you hit free agency, but then they decided against it. It’s been reported that you told them you wanted to go back to being a scoring champ and to go back to being the guy who played that Rockets style basketball, and that it was a turnoff that led to them changing their minds. Is there truth to that? JH: Where is the personnel for that on that team? And in the last three or four years, what have I been trying to accomplish (in terms of playmaking)? To Harden’s point, he hasn’t averaged 30-plus points since winning his third consecutive scoring title in the 2019-20 season but has averaged at least 10 assists in the last three seasons (including a league-leading 10.7 last season). You can answer that for yourself. Now the meeting was had, and those conversations about style of play, how I’ve been playing and things like that (took place). But (the idea of) me going out there and averaging 30-something points a game — who wants to do that? Who was in the meeting? JH: Representation, (Rockets) head coach (Ime Udoka). That was it.
