Is Francis a Franchise Player?

    Few of Francis threads, and no doubt he is an upgrade for the Rockets, but IMO, he is a franchise caliber player.

    He reminds me of Matt Maloney, a good to great player, and one that is really capable of leading a team somewhere significant.

    I like Francis and 20 and 6 are huge numbers, but this is a paint oriented league, to me most of the franchise players are on the wing, or at the center.

    Not in the perimeter oriented anymore.

    So, in your own opinion, is Steve Francis a franchise player?

    Someone that can lift his teamates up, and lead a team to a championship?

    I say yes, if you disagree, I would love to hear your thoughts.

    If we had to sign a free agent this off-season, I would easily take "The Franchise" over "The Dinosaur."

    He has a better jumpshot which will fit the Rick Adelman system.

    Dont forget about his A+ athleticism.

    Really for 100% of the annoying threads made now, there has to be a terribly made joke thread?
