    Not only that, what he has done in terms of globalizing the game, and being a world ambassador with recognition from high end figures alone merits a HOF induction.

    Offensively no. He was never the best center in the game or the best player in the game.

    But he brought so much defense and heart. he's a global citizen. He improves the community. Everyone loves and respects Deke.

    Overall, no question. He's a HOF. Perhaps not First ballot though

    why does he have to be some offensive player?

    Rodman purposely never played offense and he'll easily make it to the HOF too.

    dude, he helped multiple teams win championships.
    he was the best rebounder and defender on many teams.

    why do many of you guys think offensive stats are everything?

    Everytime a HOF thread pops up someone has to say it... its the Basketball Hall of Fame people, this isn't baseball. Its relatively easy to make the NBA HOF.
