Witht eh ROx looking for a backup/contingency center, does Anderson have a role on this team. If Yao is back and a defensive 5 is brought in does Anderson have trade value as a poor man's Brad Miller?

    North Pole, oh hai.

    No role, Goodbye

Seriously though, it was clear from his production last year that if we got ANYONE else to be a backup C + the return of Yao, his minutes will drop from slim to nill.

Never was going to help us.

The fact that most people still spell it 'AndersOn' is a fair indication
of the lack of any notice he has made Rockets fans take in him.

Would bet money that he will be back in Europe before training camp starts regardless but If we sign Miller he is definitely gone. He makes pretty decent money over there so he would probably negotiate a relatively low buyout agreement to release him. He would have played the PF spot well next to Yao but would stunt the growth of Hill and Patterson by taking their minutes and wouldnt be much more productive.

wow even an aussie rox fan does not support him....hmmmm. well to be honest, we might have taken a drastic step in signing him last season when Yao went down, he only really shown his worth in that win over the lakers last season, other than that some flashes of good plays but mostly i remember him being out with back injury towards the end of last season, we're kinda stuck with him for 1-2yrs so hopefully he steps up this summer work hard and prove his worth come training camp

due to the fact that Yao could not play a full season, we need 4 backup centers.
