I'd rather have McHale to mentor our young bigmen

D Antoni...is clearly overrated..if you had the talent u have in NY and cant get that to work ...your not doing your job... Nash's ability to make plays helped over hype his coach...

Don't get me wrong, I think McHale's "teamball" approach will work great too.

I just thought of D'Antoni because of the Linsanity connection. NYK were winning in that run until Melo the ball stopper came back.

I think Nash made Dantoni known, but I wouldn't mind him as some sort of offensive coordinator for the Rockets

Isn't he part of the assistant coaches for the US Olympics team? Or was?

He might get hired as an assistant somewhere and be promoted when the head coach is fired.

I rather Lin in a half-court offense rather than run-n-gun.

His skills to attack the rim are amazing, and don't get utilized as much in a run-n-gun offense.

iso's and screens is Lin's main game, D'Antoni will limit that.

But he doesn't coordinate anything? He just lets the players do whatever
