Well, according to nbatalk.com, Cuttino is a Restricted Free Agent. Which actually makes sense to me, because I had to ask myself why Rashard Lewis was a restricted free agent and Cuttino was not. I would assume that coming out of the second round of the draft in the same year, that their contracts would be similar. If he is restricted, this means that Houston can match any offer that another team gives and retain Cuttino. So, does anyone know what the truth to this is? Also, for anyone who's interested, here is what nbatalk.com had to say in their list of the top 20 free agents (http://www.sportstalk.com/nba/stuff/freeagents/index.shtml): --------- Status: Unsigned Restricted Free Agent Frontrunner: Houston Scoop: The Rockets can offer him much more than any other team. That, and the fact that he and Francis are pals, chums, homeboys. The Rockets are a young, exciting team. Mobley is part of that fervor and should be rewarded. Besides, what's the going rate for an undersized off guard who shoots in the sub-40s." ------------------
