C.D. is hinting at retirement. What would this mean for the direction of the team? Rumors are flying that Les might go after Kiki Vandeweghe, the current Nuggets GM.
I think this might have been posted a while ago. CD is getting old and I think he even metioned something about retiring last summer. Kiki would be a great replacement IMO, he had done wonders for Denver. Getting Kiki and replacing JVG would be just fine with me. I like JVG but I think this team will never reach it's full potential under him.
how old is he??? From his picture I would say 65. Would you trust your grandpa with a billion dollar enterprise?
I really don't know why CD would be looking to retire. Les is probably pissed at him for what happened this season especially since we were supposed to make one of the strongest playoff pushes in a long time. I hope whoever we sign as GM will be someone who has building experience. I expect a big explosion in our roster this offseason except for the likes of Yao and Mcgrady. I have a feeling that even a coaching change isn't out of the question either.
Did you just sign up today and start trying to start retirement threads? Tmac and CD retire in one day, nice try. Lock both of these threads. Lock the newb You're probably that radio punk trying to test us. How far can an internet rumor go? Let's try this one: I've heard that Clutch City1993 is that guy on the radio that talked bad about clutchfans for starting rumors? What do you think? I can't wait to see the next 10 threads/rumors you start. Lockdown
I just read your profile. You might want to change your profile a bit unless you want 5,000 random Rockets fans to have access to your photos. Just a piece of advice. That's one cent, here's the other: spreading rumors that you've heard from someone who heard it from someone else generally isn't respected very highly on here. Sorry I was being a jackwhole on the last post.
Actually, I remember reading an article about CD retired and I think Kiki V from Denver stepping up. It was reported in some newspaper, I'll try to dig it up.
Found it; don't know how much merit it has though... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=110242
this is only dumb because of the other thread started by him and because he just joined. obviously trying to start crap up. ban.
This is a really odd comment! I'd bet >90% of every corporation in America has an average age on the board of directors over 75 years old. 65 is not old by virtually any standard in upper management of corporate America.
while we are predicting who's going to retire, i heard that yao is going to retire and go back to china to become a buddhist monk.
