Boki was drafted in the first round and he still doesn't play. Is he going to play this season coming up?

We will probably see a better BOKI with more playing time this season with the NEW COACH and NEW OFFENSE (wishing)

A lot will depend on what off-season moves we make or don't make. Boki has some potential, but I never saw any of our guards try to get him into the flow of the game. He was an afterthought.

However, as a rookie that has to be somewhat expected. Heck, look at Yao's touches. With a year of seasoning and a new coach, maybe some other changes...Boki might get the opportunity to show us what he can do.

I'm really hoping he can be our answer at SF.

Well, since this BBS has an amazing number of people who have actually seen Boki in practice and know he should be playing more, this is the forum to ask.

Hey, I don't have a girlfriend anymore, I'm going to dedicate more time here. Get used to it. :D

This has been quite possibly my biggest pet peeve with this forum during the 2002-2003 season. Everyone is convinced that Boki is this superstar that Rudy T kept on the bench for whatever reason. There is absolutely no proof of that.

I agree. Unless we use Posey as a 2 when Steve is on the bench. Glen Rice produces too much to sit him down and especially when Boki must hasn't showed anything during practice.

My biggest pet peeve is drafting players in the mid 1st round after talking them up prior to the draft, and then not even giving them a chance to prove what they can do. My other pet peeve is drafting players in the mid 1st round who suck and don't deserve to even be on the court. So, either way, I'm gonna be pissed! ;)

Boki could be Richard Jefferson-like, if he played with Jason Kidd.

I thought "pet-peeve" meant a WHOLE other thing, so I'm just going to shut up, lol.

If you hype Boki up and he turns out to be a bust then it is a big heartbreak. I suggest that everyone stop speculating on how great he is without actually seeing him post 10+ points in a game. I mean some ppl are GREAT in (what AI loves to call) PRACTICE, but that is very different than playing great in a GAME. If Boki is treated like a bonus and he turns out to be what we all hoped he would be then we are set, no complaints, and the shock would be welcome. I say let the new coach evaluate him and dish out his playing time as necessary (Like it would happen any other way...). I just wish ppl would stop acting like they are "in the know" when they are not. This does not apply to the ppl who are actually "in the know" and have seen Bostjan's so called amazing shooting and slashing ability. False speculation that is conveyed in the form of a FACT only clouds what the real insiders have to say. I'm not a Boki doubter (In fact I'm a supporter and hope he is great)....I'm just an annoyed fan who rather see the production instead of the unwarranted hype. Let the man prove himself and be a stud if he's gonna be one.

Rudy and the guys really hyped things up about Nachbar. I remember them telling us how he was hitting shots really well etc. I dont know, I just expected the player to play, after hearing about his hot hand...
