Did I miss something? Is there something wrong with his knee?

I was kinda surprised he wasnt out on the court on the final possession when Yao made the two and the foul.

Nope, he is just old....I think Morey might have made a mistake there, he may be done.

Well, he looked bad trying to hold Roy on D, but that's no surprise. This is another product of not having Battier. The rotations are all jacked up right now.

It is early but it is looking like he doesn't need to be in the rotation.

Yeah I agree - would have much rather had Roger Mason instead

I like Barry because of his high IQ on the court but I wonder if Luther should be getting his minutes.

The offense isn't flowing - in other words, shooters not getting their looks; and he can't make his own shots.

I think the same way, he should just retire or stay in San Antonio. He fits this team very well, with his age.

This guy still can shot and will make 2 3s a game for you, but taht's all. He is just standing and waiting for the ball, playing no defense. He just can't move on D, too old?

This is a time when we should put Luther Head or even Wafer instead of him in the rotation.

Lol it won't be his first mistake. ala Steve "i cant ball no more" Francis. But all in all this was just a bad match up team for Barry to go against. Just like how the Jazz is a bad match up for luther head. Things happen

Sometimes moves do not pan out...Barry's BBall IQ is off the charts but his lateral quickness is gone gone gone.

As long as Barry his hitting the open 3 he will get playing time but if or once he stops he shouldn't be on the floor.

Unfair to be that hard on Barry though, because he shouldn't be playing the spot he is playing right now. Battier returning will push Barry further down the depth chart and then he becomes more useful coming in and hitting 2-3 three pointers for you in limited minutes.

I don't think he's been that bad on D, with the exception being last night. He seems about on par with Head or Wafer and he's good for our offense. I don't know what more you could ask from him.

the problem is the rockets aren't passing the ball around when they get double and triple teamed (except for Yao). Pure and simple.

in other words, no ball movement.

No, he is partially hurt. I heard it yesterday on the radio that his knee's bothering him right now. Sorry I couldn't be more specific as I forget if it was 610 or 790, but one of their hosts said Barry's knee was dogging him a bit before the Blazers game.

That and couple it with the fact that he's old isn't a great equation.
