I think he ran quite a few people off from the chatroom if I recall correctly, Johnny Rocket . Chatters didn't like what he had to say. I think his "distant" relatives are moronic for video-taping him and giving it to the media. A 6 year old boy cannot make difficult decisions like this for himself. In other words, it doesn't matter what he wants. Still, with all the distant relatives putting words in his mouth, he probably really wants to play on a freaking swing set or with a remote controlled car. It's tough luck that he was born in Cuba but his father has every right to take him back...the distant relatives have absolutely no right and I hope they go to jail for disobeying the law in returning him. It's a senseless tragedy to keep a boy from his father....communism or no communism. Either way, the boy has it made for the rest of his life because of all the fans he has...regardless of where he grows up. Finish it already and throw the great uncle in jail for breaking the law. Thank God it's over from the Miami standpoint! The Miami family knew this would happen right up until the very end. They also knew the agents were coming. Yet, they were in total disbelief. What did they think when they didn't answer the door and hand him over like they said they would? The agents had to bust the door in only to find them hiding him in a damn closet! They caused all this. How can they say they were thinking of Elian? They were selfish and thinking of themselves and their politics ONLY. If they were thinking of Elian, they would have met with Juan and turned him over then. But NO, just like David Koresh and countless other banditos, they think they can dictate to the US Goverment how they want to proceed and drag it out forever. What happened in Waco was a fiasco and tragedy; what happened with Elian was nothing like that. Force had to be used somewhat with a violent Mob making threats and not knowing what awaits them inside. The Miami family was even told that "time has run out". Ummm...that means THE END you idiots. This is America and not Miami-Cuba America...you don't like how it was done...leave. You do not dictate to the government on how things go down stupid.
