Don't get me wrong, I'm as excited as the next guy about getting Ming and Nachbar. Sure I'm ready to see how much Francis has progressed. I'm so ready for the season to start, I'm wondering how I'm gonna make it through the summer. What I'm really looking forward too, however, is seeing EG tear the league up this year. Maybe I'm just fooling myself, but I think Griff is ready to become the number two option on this team. Rocket!!! says he's bulked up. Says Griff told him he was ready to take a beating this year. Combine that with the reports we've all been seeing about Griffin working on his post moves this offseason and I think we've got ourselves a star ready to shine. Start the guy Rudy, he's ready!!!!
I don't think he's ready to be the 2nd option, but I do think he'll be the best front court player this year. If he's bulked up, then he'll be able to show off the hook shot that he used at Seton Hall effectively. He'll also rebound better. I don't think something like 13 and 8 or so would be surprising, along with 2-3 blocks.
Eddie may become the best player on the Rockets in a few years. He has height, quickness, shooting ability, and Robert Horry-esque "clutch-ness". I am so excited to see what he's going to do next season. He was my favorite Rocket last year

he can be an all-star in 2 years. make him the second option over mobley, and he can average 17-9-3, those will definitly make him an all-star.
I saw Griffin today at the Galleria. He has definitely put on some muscle. He has definitely been working out. Dynasty here we come!
Man, I really don't know if he is taller now. I haven't seen him enough to be able to see a difference in his height. But I know he has gotten heavier. Wait till you guys see him!
Last year he was listed at 220, but was probably closer to 230 by seasons end. How much more has he added? If he's put on enough to get to 240 I'm very happy. Whens the damn season going to start?
Eddie is about to straight blow up and become the best young PF in the game! If he works on his post moves he will be unstoppable. We won't even have to worry about Ming for a couple of years if we can just kick it down to Griffin. Man I tried to buy an authentic Griffin jersey last year from NBA.com but they were trippin so I gotta wait till this year.

Im pumped to see how Griffin comes out- he's my second favourite rocket, behind franchise ofcourse. I think the Rockets are gonna whip teams silly and beat them stupid this season. I'm curious about Nachbar tho coz i've only seen those grainy highlight films, should be interesting.
