While everyone is clamoring about how sweet a Fisher suspension would be, we have to sit back and look at if it actually is. ESPN's Daily Dime actually has a section for the pros and cons of the Lakers missing their starting pg. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?page=dime-090507
No. I think Fisher is playing so poorly that I'd want him out there. Shannon Brown and Farmar have done fine against us whereas Fisher has struggled mightily on offense and defense against us.
There is a reason why Derek Fisher is their starter. If he is suspended, it will only benefit us. Those with a Lakers' bias would have loved him to stay and play game 3.
Jordan Farmar is actually considered really bad to Laker fans and most of them want him gone. From what I heard, they were happy when Brown started taking over his minutes. Haven't heard on what their recent thoughts on Farmar were though. That being said, It actually is good. We are coming back to the Toyota Center and Shannon Brown is very inexperienced in playing in the playoffs. Farmar has some experience but really isn't that good. Our PG play has to be better though, because the Lakers PGs completely outplayed our PGs in Game 2.
I would make a personal comment to Fisher next game. I won't say what but there was a reason he went back to the Lakers instead of going to Utah. Yes, I would go there. He is obviously so easy to get riled up, I would definitely exploit that.
Exactly. Aaron knows he can run circles around Fisher. He did a phenomenal job of getting to the basket in game 1 and you saw he did it with ease. But in game 2 I don't remember him taking Derek to the basket. Gotta take adventage of your adventages.
MERGE this thread. You can discuss this in the "Stu Jackson on Fisher" or "Dirty Lakers plays" threads. Yes, a suspension to any player is good. It shows the league will do what's right.
