I have heard rumors from several sources that Maiden is considering co-headlining Ozzfest this year. (Green Day would be the other co-headliner. Weak I know, but any Maiden is better than no Maiden).

As of right now, Maiden has a very light tour schedule this year with only a few european dates and no U.S dates. So this might be the only chance we get to see them for the next year and a half or so.

The Ozzfest website is currently taking votes from fans to help shape the lineups. So if you guys and girls want to see the greatest live band out there today, head on over to www.ozzfest.com and let them know you want to see Eddie and the boys. You won't regret it.

Not sure how many Maiden fans are on this board, but I figured I'd post this because this is a chance for one of the greatest bands in history to show all the nu-metal and alternative fans what true rock really is.

I thought I had heard a while back that it was supposed to be Judas Priest? Why not Maiden/Priest instead of Green Day?

Concerts don't get much more fun than Iron Maiden. But Green Day on Ozzfest? Uh, I find that a little hard to believe, especially after last summer was the tour's most "metal" ever. Then again, whatever Sharon thinks will make money is what she'll put on stage.

I thought Maiden's touring schedule was light because they had decided not to do any more full-scale world tours anymore? It was my understanding they were scaling back to doing just festival dates and the like. Either way, a joint Priest/Maiden tour is likely inevitable.

Priest co-headlined with Sabbath last year.

Is Bruce Dickinson still singing for Maiden?

I found a cover of The Scorpions' "The Zoo" sung by Maiden - blows the original away IMO.

Anyway, "Aces High" & "The Trooper" are still my two favorites...

Yeah, Bruce has been singing with them again for the last several years after going solo for a few.
