    This is something real easy to verify, they either has the cure or not. If they do, Iran can count on a huge increase in their trades.

    AIDS is just the syndrome, HIV is the actual virus. It cures the syndrome but not the virus. If true, that would still be great.

    Yeah, it'd be great because HIV isn't what kill you. Living with AIDS lowers your immune system and you end up dying from the flu or some other non-lethal sickness.

    A cure for AIDS would mean having HIV would now be like having Herpes.

    He's rich...

    There are methods to control HIV (drop the virus in blood to a very low level) so that the patient never develops AIDS but these treatments are very expensive and are not affordable for most people.
