"Iran's semiofficial Mehr News agency reported Thursday that officials from Russia and China had asked Iran for permission to inspect the captured drone."

What? No self destruct button?

Jon Stewart had a funny piece on this yesterday, according to US officials they lost control of it over Afghanistan and it somehow flew itself safely to Iran. Iran's story is that they used cyber warfare to take control of the drone. I think the truth is that the US was spying on Iran and it crashed (though it doesn't look like it crashed)......this is gold for Iran cause I'm sure the Chinese are drooling over replicating it. It supposedly has top secret stealth, camera, and audio technology on it....

    All that research money wasted.

Why should China research military technology when they could just steal ours from Israel, Pakistan, and Iran?

This drone was apparently designed with old stealth tech with the understanding that one would eventually be shot down/crash in a location that would allow unsavory types to look at it.

    No big deal.

I read it was flown by Major William Martin, Royal Marines.

Depending upon whether or not this had weapons or was controlled by the U.S., could our flying it into Iran be interpreted as an act of war?
