Is there an easy way to go back and add album covers for songs that were added to iTunes without them originally? Thanks!
In iTunes click on the Advanced menu option and select "Get Album Artwork". It takes a while but should get most album covers. That's the only automated way that I know of.
When you sync up your iPod you can go to the advanced tab and click on Get Album Artwork and it will retrieve what album covers it can from the net. Some of my more obscure songs had no album artwork to be found, so you knd of get what you can.
No. Keep in mind one big trick, especially with getting artwork for CDs imported w/o using the internet (the auto-detection of the song names and information) or with unpaid for mp3s - If the song is not named precisely correct, iTunes won't find its coverart. For If you wrote in the names of the artist, song title, and album yourself, you need to double-check. Examples: Police instead of The Police Blue Album instead of Weezer Living on the Edge instead of Livin' on the Edge capitalization and typos will also be deal-breakers. Evan
You can also try http://www.art4itunes.com/getart/uploadtracks.php . Someone wrote a script to get album cover art from Amazon. Neat script. It needs you to export the Music Library to XML, is all. - sorry-double-post
