Anyone have a skin or case for their iPod they would recommend? I was looking at the evoflip, but it doesn't come in the size I need and I've heard conflicting things about the iSkin. Any cases/skins that should be avoided like the plague? I have the case that the iPod came with and it protects it well, but I'm getting tired of having to pull it all the way out when I want to skip a song or so.
http://www.ipodlounge.com/gearguide.php This site has a lot of reviews for iPod accessories, you may find something there. I haven't used any except for the one that came with it, but it also came with a remote that you could use to control it so you didn't have to take it out of the case. The remote wasn't too durable and broke after a month or two. Here are the headphones with remote that I had.
I spent abotu 2 hours at iPodlounge actually. I think I'm gonna go with the iSkin unless someone says otherwise.
I don't want just the plain white and gray either, so instead of looking for a case, I just went ahead and bought the U2 special edition red/black iPod. It's good stuff.
I've had an iPod since 2002 and have had 2 or 3 different cases...i got the clear iSkin and the another case which is supposedly the thinnest case out there...it's made out of japanese silicon or something... ...here's my advice to you: don't use a case. it makes the ipod look uglier, and you can't slide it in and out of your pocket with a case...i know you're probably afraid of getting it scratched up, but a scratch is just a scratch...a scratched up ipod looks cooler than a scratchless ipod in an ugly case...just my 2 cents..
I second this. My 1st and 2nd Generation iPods both have scratches. Doesn't bother me in the least. They are meant to be used and if they get scratches, so be it.
