June 29th! Anyone plan on getting one? $499 is alot for a phone. I spoke w/ our company's mobile deprt about this. He says AT&T has given him the impression that Apple may have problems keeping up with demand. Anyway, I usually don't get too giddy with commercials featuring new gadgets, but I have to say, if I wasn't already locked into a contract w/ T-Mobile, I would get one of these.
exclusive to AT&T till 2010 I believe btw ...it sucks that this phone is not going to work with 3G technology
Also sucks how it doesn't sync up with Outlook calendar even though it's compared to all these business smartphones.
not just no...HELL NO!!! $500 for a freaking phone?? seriously?? a little item i'm gonna carry around...i could easily lose....could soooo easily be stolen?? ummmmm...no. i think it's fantastic technology. i think it's super dee duper cool. but i ain't buying one.
from the things I hear, its horrible, its on a slow network, the touchscreen is horrible and it requires a 2 year update, updates firmware like almost everyday which isn't a good sign overall, all I have heard is bad things about, looks nice, but wtf? everybody already has an IPOD with that said VERIZON WIRELESS ROCKS cause the write out my paychecks....
So I am Cingular (or AT&T) customer with an expired contract and am thinking of getting one to sell. How much do you guys think I would be able to mark it up?
Alot of tech insiders say the Helio Ocean phone is better( more capabilities, ease of use and price) than the iPhone.
There are people out there that'll pay that much for the phone, but like others have already said, the price is too dang much for what you get. No push email, no 3G, originally stated to have 5 hours of battery life - now they're saying more, but not sure how much, 2 year contract (?) and no discount on the $500 pricetag (you can get a low-end laptop for around that). Dayum. But it shore is purty. My bet is they'll bring out versions with more memory and lower price... that way they can sell the same thing 10 times to one person. lol.
