I bought an unlocked 4s in mint condition for 200. I went to the AT&T store and asked if anyone was upgrading to the galaxy s4. I told them I'd give them 200 for their old iPhone. Got 3-4 offers in a matter of 15 minutes. You might try that route first. There are a lot of people out there who live paycheck to paycheck but still want to purchase a luxury good. So for them it's like a free upgrade
