What are some good apps for the iPad?? Some free, some that are worth purchasing. If you bought for iPhone, does it sync on the iPad? How does this work? Lol
iPhone and iPad apps are different. So if you own Plants vs. Zombies on iPhone, you have to buy it for iPad.
LogMeIn Ignition is free today (a $30 app). Better get in on that because it's certainly not free on the android side .
thats not entirely true, some apps/games charge for both iphone and ipad. others are "universal" which means buy it on one device and it will be free to download on the other, assuming you use the same apple ID on both devices. at least i think i've seen apps like that, i don't have an ipad so never done it myself.
I don't know of many, but you may be right. I know that most charge separately as developing for each screen size requires (almost) twice the work. EDIT: When I had my iPad I loved the CBS News App (60 minutes clips), the ABC App (stream ABC shows), Netflix, Plants vs. Zombies, NPR, Dropbox, Flipboard, Kindle, Tweetdeck, Evernote, Air Video and Skype.
Not true, if you bought it for the IPhone and you sync your Iphone and Ipad together it will work fine. Any IPhone app pretty much works on an IPad, it is just rezzed up. DD
Pandora is a must have free app. Plants vs Zombies Cut the Rope Where's my water Are all great games.....as is Cribbage if you like that. DD
That is just auto-scaling the app. There is a huge difference between iPad and iPhone/iPod apps. Using an iPhone/iPod app on the iPad isn't how it was "meant" to be used.
What? it is just scaled up 2 times, the game play is the same, the resolution isn't but it hardly shows on most games because of their stylized graphics. DD
Most games have additional features for iPad, for this very reason. I encourage you to jailbreak your iPad and test the difference between apps on Installous.
My mistake, it was the regular version that cost $30: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/logmein/id479229407?mt=8
Can't really brick it with the widely used rooting tools, unless you try changing the root files (and that is even recoverable). If you mess it up, you can always restore to factory defaults. Once you jailbreak you never go back!
