    I am planning on going to pick up an iPad 2 tomorrow at 5 pm at Best Buy. Just trying to gage how bad the lines will be. Whose going?

    yea, I wouldn't anticipate any ridiculous lines, plus their should be plenty of them in stock

    As expected, the online ordering is now at 2-3 weeks for delivery. At 5 it was 3-5 days. They probably burned through the initial stock. You can still order, though.

    The problem this time is there are so many different models to choose from with the addition of the white color and the Verizon model. If you are dead set on getting a certain model you might be out of luck.

    Online ship time direct from Apple has already increased from initial 3-5 business days to 2-3 weeks.

    got my order in when it opened up for sale at 3-5 day shipping. i got an email that my smart cover had shipped already but not the ipad... i'm expecting i'll receive it in a week or two, which i don't mind. i'll let the jailbreakers go to work.

    I wouldn't use specs to buy a tablet. Any tablet besides the ipad that says 10 battery life is lying. Ipad 2 beat the Xoom by 2 hours in battery, and that's was the best an Android tablet could do. Ipad 2 has HDMI out thru an adapter.

    BTW the 3 other slates listed are VAPORWARE.

    Really? The reason it might be lesser in battery life because it uses REAL MULTITASK unlike iOS.
