JD Fortune is the new lead singer of INXS.....and he deserved it....by far. However, Marty and Mig were good too...what a great great show.... JD was amazing. DD
This is the first time I watched, but JD was the clear cut winner and is one the best lead men I've seen. He's a great performer. The blonde dude had a good performace with inxs as well. But not nearly as good as the jd dude. He's a great fit. Reminds of that front guy who sings that song about letting his girl out into the milky way and then coming back. Good show.
Great! Now they can add to the long line of hits they've given us since 1987. Songs like " ," and " ," and especially " ." Though my personal favorite, and you can call me crazy, would have to be " ."
I watched about 48 seconds of the show, but from the auditions, it appears as if the next INXS tour setlist is going to be half full of covers like "Kiss From a Rose" and "Honky Tonk Women."
JD...<dramatic pause>....you ARE the right person for our band....<dramatic pause>.....INXS!!! <camera flashes over to Brooke Burke...hubba hubba>
Pretty Vegas is an instant hit...they should include that on their album..... This has been great for both INXS and JD Fortune....best reality TV show ever. DD
Pretty Vegas is worth buying....and INXS just got 12 solid weeks of promotion.....they will be relevant again, because of this show. DD
Well, ya know, it's kinda hard to crank out hit songs when your lead singer is dead. They tried to get Michael Hutchence to write some lyrics, but all he could come up with was " ," and " ," and especially " ." He's spending less time composing, and more time decomposing.
JD was prob best for INXS's rather bland rock. I'm glad Marty didn't win so we could hear him sing good, current music. I think Marty could be more popular than the resurrected INXS.
Wow. Your finger is on the.....pulse...of something... I don't see it. "Classic rock" karaoke with a bunch of has-been 50 year olds and a former Elvis impersonator just ain't gonna be relevant. I thought everybody in the competition were a bunch of cheeseballs, but good on them for being able to get those freaks on tv. Hey Dave Navarro- you can go ahead and shoot yourself now!
Actually, Dave's going to make music with half the people that didn't make it. Weren't you watching the show?
My brother has their last album. That song Elegantly Wasted was pretty good and another song from that album rolls during the credits of Face/Off, it's called Don't Lose Your Head. I remember seeing them years ago on that Hard Rock Live thing they used to do on VH1. Saw Robert Palmer on that too. Those are they only 2 I remember and both of those guys are dead...
I guess I'm thinking of that classic INXS era from 1987 to November of 1997, when they just cranked out hit after hit after hit.
Yes. As a matter of fact I am ready for the new sensation. And it's not gonna include a revamped-by-reality-show INXS.
I liked INXS when I was a kid and i'm happy to see them doing 'well' ~ however, I won't be picking up their new album. My Mom will probably get it though...
Huh... The only song I saw JD do was Pink Floyd's "Money", and he was absolutely Gawd-awful performing that.
