Google is currently working on "Project Glass", a pair of augmented reality glasses that seek to provide users real-time information right in front of their eyes! This will revolutionize the way we see things on a daily basis! Enjoy this video, your future is here! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9c6W4CCU9M4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://techcrunch.com/2012/04/04/google-project-glas/
What I want to know is how (and more importantly when) is the p*rn industry going to make this service better?
Few days late?!?! The video was release today with the article and i never go on reddit. *Edit k it was posted on reddit 2hrs ago where i have to search the thread, so technically I'm 2 hours late. Who here actually go on reddit? That website is a mess to navigate. Maybe it's my first time. Although i do find some interesting stuff there.
I thought the video was pretty interesting. I wonder how much those will cost? You will be able to watch video and do you have to be in wifi to use them?
I loved how HUD glasses were used in the book Halting State, a cyberpunk novel. It had stuff like this. The glasses would also recognize people's faces and immediately pop up info about them if you knew them and many other cool things.
Assuming by the time we have it we should be able to use it with 5g speed aka 5th generation wireless
There was a thread about this before but it was a rumor at the time. This one has video and is official.
If you think bluetooth headsets are bad, wait till everyone is walking around talking to themselves with these glasses. lol Cool idea but I don't think I would use them regularly. We are too "plugged in" as it is.
So it blurs out your vision when you get a text or something? Traffic fatalities will be up 500%. Lol.
No one will walk around in those things. They will need to make them look like regular glasses if they want people to actually use them. Really cool technology though.
They definitely know their market with these book-store shopping, coffee drinking, New York yuppies. Where's average Joe who wants to keep reading sports blogs even while whipping his arse.
