Ah, back when I moved back to Houston in '98 this was the song they used on the WB39 intros (video). It was cool. I like it.

That theme was the best thing ever! I love it. Thank you very much, Kaiser.:)

You know... they played it during Clutch City, and the current team is the best since then. How tight would it be if they just dropped those damn drummers and brought this back? I don't think anyone would complain.

I'm so glad they ditched the crappy dance music and went to the greatest scream in rock and roll history. Playing Won't Get Fooled Again just freakin' rocks!

    the THEME SONG!!

the rock stuff doesn't pump you up like this!!

we haven't won a championship since we got rid of this and replaced it with non-pumpup music and that 'hardcore' flying dildo

After the Rockets beat the Mavs in Game 2, we left the American Airlines Center jamming to this song on full blast with the windows rolled down, sticking our heads out the window and sunroof, waving a TMAC jersey and yelling "Clutch City!!" and "We're going back to H-Town!"...it was awesome!!:D

    Let me just say this..

I freakin' hate sampled, dance music. It blows donkey balls. I hated it when it came over the PA in the early 90's and I still hate it. The best thing they ever did was ditch that horrific nightmare music and play something that has actual musicians performing live, not a synth and programmed drums.

    There, I feel better. :)

I absolutely love the song because it puts me right back into the Clutch City era. I'd love for them to start playing it again at the games. I think the crowd would just go ridiculous.

Oh yeahhhhh....I have been to a game since they were gone; I'm pretty sure I remember hearing "Won't Get Fooled Again" last season.

Yep, it's been since last season since I was at a game.:(:(:(

There's nothing I'd rather do more then go to all 82 games, okay! Let's get that clear. Look at my info, though; I'm in the enemy's territory up in Dallas. I'm gonna try really hard to get in for a playoff game; I gotta see a game during the best season we've had for a decade.

And Jeff, at least that sampled dance music was original; no other team had it. It was the Rockets' and that's it. I think I've heard a team use "Won't Get Fooled Again" before, and even if they hadn't, they easily could. Any team could use that song; it's not original at all, but whatever...
