His reaction to all this: http://www.nba.com/rockets/video/2011/02/08/ZOOM0001MOV-1551161/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt2
Well... we'll see. Maybe this was the kick in the head he needed, and it will wind up being a blessing in disguise. That would be preferable to the alternative, for sure.
I think AB sounds genuinely sincere and sorry here. The part where he says he went back to the locker room and watched the game tells me he's still invested in the team. He also seems proud of the team's recent upswing and eager to help us make the playoffs. I hope he's learned his lesson and things will get better now. I think I've been a little overly critical of him and will refrain from any more judgment until I see what happens from here on out.
That was hard to watch, and of course we didn't learn anything new. I think he just wants to start. Also, he seems pretty embarrassed about his drop off from last year.
He was my favorite player last year and I really hope he stays here as long by showing us that he can play well again.
I was waiting to see how he answered to decide how to react to walking out on his team. He sounds genuinely sorry and seems to take responsibility for his actions. I will definitely give him the benefit of the doubt here and see how he deals with his frustrations on the court. Actions do speak louder than words after all. We need you AB if we want to even make the playoff so get your game back soon!
Rick Adelman: I've seen people get upset. Not too many have walked off the bench that way. I've been doing this a long time, whatever you think your doing, I see it. I see body language, your actions, etc. You don't embarrass anyone, teammates or me. Won't work. He made a big mistake. I still think he can succeed though. A lot of people love him. Now everyone think's we're gonna trade him, trade won't happen. Just one of those things. I think he's truly sorry. As a coach, gotta take it and move on. Can't hold a grudge.
Wow. He seem like he is about to cry. now that is truly a sincere apology. I love AB was my fav player last year. I think this was an emotional thing more than anything. I think he feels pressured not being able to live up to last year's expectations. I hope to see aaron a rocket forever and ever  AB FOR ROCKETS for ever. I feel bad that all of us were so critical of him even though he hasnt played well . clearly he is upset more than us
I'm sure he will have to earn his place back into the rotation based on how he does in practice. The impending trading line definitely is weighing on himself as well. I do believe that he is sorry. Adelman has given him a lot of chances. He has no room for errors anymore. This makes it tougher for him,but he can make things easier for himself and the team.
I think he's sorry he did it as well. I sat here literally waiting for him to cry. Emotions get the best of us, but how we handle it is key. He didn't handle it well, and he owned it. Now, as a team, franchise, fan base and overall organization can move forward.
Life is full of second chances and I hope AB graps his and makes things better. I don't know what Morey will decide but whatever it is I am all for it.
