If you could interview someone famous through out history who would it be?Me if I could interview anyone in history I would have to say Charles Barkley.I would ask him how it was growing up in the 60's and 70's.Plus I know Charles speaks his mind regardless of who is listening or reading.
Hmmm...those are some very limited choices. I'm going to go off list and pick the Dalai Lama. I'm hoping that if I hang out around him, some of his enlightenment might rub off on me.
I've done plenty of athletes. Maybe if I go to heaven I'll get to do the Bible one. The politicians I've met are suprisingly mundane and normal. A musician is just too tempting.
Barkley? come on, you can do better than that. You mean to tell me you would pick Barkley over: Jesus Christ, FDR, Abe Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Moses, MLK, Mark Twain, JFK, or Howard Hughs?
What are you, some kind of groupie? If I were limited to this poll, I'd interview Sting. I'd ask him about his days with my all-time favorite band The Police, not his dog crap solo career. I'd like to interview the guy that worked in that tower in Dealy Plaza the day Kennedy was shot. I'd ask him what or who he saw behind that fence!
dude..you rock!!! first ben folds, and now this juicy nugget!! i freaking love the police! i love sting's solo work too...but i have message in a box, and it gets a ton of playtime. the police/sting competes hard with my love for DMB. two favorite songs of all time are: every little thing she does is magic - police crush - dmb the order of which comes first switches from time to time!
Jesus. It'd be pretty cool to ask him about the impact of religion in our society, both positive and negative, and how to set the record straight. Maybe even ask for a miracle or two
Not to hijack this thread but.... I like Stings first 4 albums, but after that he went into his "VH1 Adult Contemporary Star" mode. Lost his edge. I'm still discovering DMB. I love Bartender and Stone. Message in a Bottle would be my favorite Police song.
i love jazz music...and sting has a lot of jazz influence in his music...brand new day has some really cool, jazzy stuff on it. i saw him at jones hall back in 99 (i think it was 99)...he was amazing...we were on the 4th row and it was a great place to see someone like him play.
