An internet CEO of a major UK sports book is arrested in the USA

So the US is starting to crack down on internet gambling, arresting foreign nationals for allowing people in the USA to connect to their site.

How paranoid and hypocritical is this? We allow casinos at Indian reservations and in Nevada and New Jersey, but by gosh, don't play online poker or place a sports wager.

I am curious what the majority of people here think, should we allow internet gambling or not?

And as always your opinions are appreciated.

Nope, and American Casinos do not want the competition. All the Party Pokers, All star Pokers, Paradise Pokers, and Poker Stars sites are technically illegal to play on in the USA.

However, in the rest of the world it is not a problem.

There shouldn't even be a debate about this. I play online poker almost everyday, and it's just so stupid that our government is trying to interfere with this. It's just so stupid. I don't even know what to say, I can't even express how pointless I think them trying to stop online gambling is.
