Living in Canada, we basically get all the Raptor games on NBAtv and every other sports network and I've come to notice the abundance of international players on the Raptors for the past few years. It makes me wonder if they either seek out international players because of the American players not wanting to be "paid in Canadian dollars" or play in Canada in general(Like Stevie). What's your input on this?

They do seek out international playera. I thought they were pretty open about it.

They want the softest players they can find.

If you are really tall, can shoot 3's and are weak in the post then the Raptors are your team.

I'm offended. It's un-American for the Toronto Raptors to have so many foreign players.

Do you know what the word racist means? Last I checked, Canadians weren't a race, and calling people "too nice" and their home a frozen tundra was not racist.

It's weird guys don't like Toronto. Besides the cold factor, isn't it one of the best cities out there? If you list out all the cold weather cities in the NBA, which ones are better than Toronto? The only definite is NYC.

International players love Toronto because it's an 'international' city, especially compared to the US cities in the NBA..
