" I love V-span, I just love him... This player's got heart, he plays with passion and players like this are always useful. He's amazing... I drafted him in Detroit and I won't hide that I'd like to have him in Detroit for next season .He needs to be patient , that's how the NBA is with rookies. Maybe next year things will be much better and he'll get more PT. It needs patience...But he's an amazing player and he'll be rewarded" Pistons' Tony Ronzone 2 days ago ... Haters, start the trade scenarios
I'm not gonna point out who other international players discovered by Tony Ronzone are...you can look that one up yourselves
Vspan in a 3 way deal. Pistons get Vspan and Rudy Gay Rockets get Celtics and Grizzlies 1st picks Celtics get Chauncey Billups, Bonzi Wells, and Rockets 1st pick
I think so....however he's not a bad player (although completely out of touch with reality for the reason you mentioned)...I'm surprised he never got many minutes
BTW , I wasn't being sarcastic because he wasn't the only one I had in mind (+ the reason mentioned above)
Ill trade em for a Ford and Kid Rock. And I hate them both. But not as much as the Greek McGrady. Hell technically I am part (7%ish) Greek. And I still can't stand the guy.
I think the spot where he put the Celtics was supposed to be Grizzlies. Edit: Now that I read it again, I don't know what he was trying to do there.
If this is true, just ship him off and FedEx him to Detroit. They can have him. The fact that anybody would actually want him is astounding. Give us a box of chocolate chip cookies for him, and we have a deal.
Well, after all, European scout Tony Ronzone and the Pistons DID identify Darko Milic as a star and had the foresight to take him over Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, and Dwayne Wade - I say we give him their wish and just take Billups and Prince.
I remember in the last regular season game against Utah, former Grizzlies coach, Fratello, was commentating the game and he like V Span very much too. He admitted that it was the first time he saw V Span playing though.
