With all this talk of the Subway Series and the Yankees winning 14 straight World Series games, I read some interesting stats about consecutive victories in the finals for other sports. Lo and Behold, our Houston Rockets hold the record for NBA finals with 6 consecutive victories. Two to finish off the Knickerbokers in '94 and then 4 to sweep the Magic in '95. ------------------
With the opportunity to extend that streak when ever they make it back to the Finals. They were discussing that on the radio in Austin the other day. ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
This was mentioned in another thread about the World Series. Don't worry, Curly. We'll take that opportunity in 2002!
