John Feinstein, a very well-respected sports author, said today on NPR that he did not doubt the accusations of the kid who was grabbed by Knight. He followed Knight around for a while and wrote a great book on him called "Season on the Brink." Apparently, at one point during the time he was following Knight, someone asked him what he would be doing that day. He replied (making fun of himself), "Just another day following Knight around." Well, the coach happened to be in earshot and ran over and unleashed a tirade of profanity saying that Feinstein had no right to call him by his last name because he was at least 20 years younger than the coach. He said he screamed profanities at him. Feinstein said that was the first (and presumably last) time he even casually called Knight by his last name. It isn't up as I write this, but you will be able to listen to the audio at http://www.npr.org/programs/morning later today. ------------------ Save Our Rockets and Comets SaveOurRockets.com
