    Anderson wants answers
    Rockets guard Derek Anderson said Wednesday he would ask for a meeting with coach Jeff Van Gundy today to ask why he has not been returned to the active roster.

    Anderson said he has been ready to come back from a strained right calf for about a week.

    "I don't know why I'm not playing," Anderson said. "I'm frustrated. I got in shape. I didn't go on the trip, stayed back, worked on getting in shape. I hoped I would be playing today, but obviously I'm not. I'm going to talk to him tomorrow and see what my status is."

    Yeah, why IS JVG holding out JB and DA if they're healthy and ready to go? Just put Moochie and Baxter on inactive...we need their scoring and shooting :mad:

    JBG has serious lineup issues. He's got Barry and DA healed up and Sura will be well soon, too.

    He's gonna have to re-evaluate who's gonna be on the inactive list, and he's gonna have to change his lineups and rotations. And he really hates to do that, especially so far into the season.

    I think JVG has the trainers reporting to him, he is on top of it. Let DA and JB continue to heal and get strong, and play them after the ALL Star break.

    Moochie and Bowen or Derek Anderson and Jon Barry? Lets see. If I'm in tank mode it's Moochie and Bowen. If I want to give my team the best chance to win it's without question Derek Anderson and Jon Barry. I can't side with JVG on this one. He's losing grip.

    That's wrong dude!

    I sure trust JVG more than fans opinions b/c he knows what is going on behind the scenes. On the outside it is puzzling that he has not activated Barry and DA but who knows what has gone on in the locker room. We don't have all the facts.

    Maybe we need to assure ourselves of a high draft pick to increase its value when we trade it, so we deliberately keep out players who MIGHT help us win.

    JVG is crazy.... IMO, hes a good coach but not good enough to take you anywhere. Defense helps, HELPS, to win championship. But if you cant score, you still a loser at the end of the night.

    derek anderson - when is he back

    anybody know? sorry if it's posted somewhere else...but i think he would bring a big boost to the team to go along with the newly aquired bogans.

    well, if DA is upset he needs to re evaluate the way he played earlier this season. i can't blame JVG for keeping him inactive. he played awful earlier this season. i don't trust him out there. he takes bad shots and shoots low percentage. i'd try bogans out first and see if he can get it done, if not, let DA prove that he can play better than that.

    Barry was on 610 recently saying pretty much the same thing. He's ready to go but nowhere to go until JVG says go.
