What's your opinion? ==================================== I propose a big line-up.......................make that a HUGE line-up during Houston's 2nd run (later in the game) of their starting line-up: Penny at the 1, Shawn at the 2, Amare (maybe Bo) at the 3, Little Jake at the 4 & of course Big Jake at the 5. Hustle, strength, defense, rebounding, scoring, playmaking & pure mass. Post-ups galore against Francis, Mobley & Norris; a nighmare for Griffin & Rice. Taylor's weakness is defense & rebounding, so, needless to say, our 4's need to take it to him HARD on all aspects on offense. Ming? That's the main reason I suggested a line-up featuring the Twin Jakes. Frustrate the HELL out of him!!! I mean, outside of Ming, Houston really doesn't have any other low post threat on D. A 4-5 rotation of The Twin Jakes, Amare, Googs & Bo would do good, IMO. Maybe a slight sprinkling of Williams if for nothing else than a few perimeter pops to haul Ming/Cato out of the paint. Casey really needs to come in strong behind Steph/Penny, as JJ would do a damn site better taking Langhi's minutes for reasons well stated on the boards. Starting line-up? For the most important game of the season thus far? Steph, Penny, Shawn, Amare & Big Jake. ====================================
Anytime Penny's in there he's going to be the X-Factor. We got to watch out for his post up moves and his offensive rebounds.
Oh, yeah. I'm sure Rudy wouldn't change the three-guard lineup if Johnson put in the tallest players on the whole Suns team.
