or Al Harrington for that matter? I know there was talk in Houston of Austin and he actually visited there as a free agent. I haven't posted since probably October or so. The Pacers have a glut at the 3/4 position and seem to be sold on Bender in the future (or at least put up that front in public). O'neal will be the starter at 4 for the next 15 years or so, barring some blockbuster trade. What the Pacers are looking for is a veteran back up point guard and a center (who isn't). I am interested in what Rox fans would deem a fair trade for either or both players. ------------------ http://jonathanbender.8m.com http://alharrington.8m.com http://jermaineoneal.8m.com
Doesn't he have the Cato disease?? He signed a big contract and now doesn't appear near as good as before he got the big money. ------------------
The league figured him out and he didn't adjust. I think this offseason will be huge for him to see if he can add to his game to be good. But, ya just like Cato. ------------------ http://jonathanbender.8m.com http://alharrington.8m.com http://jermaineoneal.8m.com
I wouldn't say he played badly - 10ppg and 5 rebs. His fg% was pretty bad, but his 3pt % was good for a big man, and he shot his free throws VERY well, so there's hope for the rest. Croshere's a tweener, and is showing all the classic problems of such. He really acquired his fame (not unlike Shandon Anderson) in one playoff series where he performed very well. He's capable of standing out in any game, due to his hard-nosed defense and pretty shot... but doesn't have the moves or athletic abilities to persist as a star. He seemed to benefit greatly from Larry Bird's help, so maybe Rudy would be able to assist as well. Not sure, but Thomas seems a different type of player. He'd be a nice pick-up. But he's very much the PF-SF version of Anderson, so if you don't like Shandon, don't bother. ------------------ A few years back on the Senate floor...
