I think we should've won 26 games in a row right now if Yao didn't miss a game this year.We were rolling way before this amazing streak has began.Remeber we were on a 5 game winning streak until Yao missed that game aginst the Jazz.
agreed. not to mention that we would've been tied for first right now, and evenly matched up against the lakers. looking forward (with yao in mind) i could see them winning the rest of the season.
I agree. If Yao was playing, we would have a great shot at the championship. Everything was falling into place. Next year Scola and Landry will have another year under their belt. Another year under Adelman's system. The only negative is that Tracy is not getting any younger so we have a 2 year window I think. 2009 and 2010. I think it will be 2009 Houston Rockets Champions of the World
It would have been a definitely win if You had played that game against Utah. Even we could not have won all eight Yao-less games, we would definitely win more games for the rest of the season if Yao were healthy. But if our team could make another 15-3 or better run to end the reguler season, I can forget about Yao for another while.
