I already had a CD burner when I first bought my PC back in September. I took my CD rom out and my friend installed the burner for me. I recently had a problem with my PC and I had to reboot it and I put my old CD rom back in. Now I really need to copy some data onto a cd and I tried installing my CD Burner into my bottom D drive Im hitting the "open" button and nothing is happening. Anyone have some suggestions or advice? HELP!!
make sure the power cord is seated properly. i know it sounds stupid but that would be the first thing I would check and you'd be surprised at the numbe rof times that you forgot to connect things when re-installing them. CK
the light on the CD burner was blinking when I cut the PC on. Does this mean its plugged in correctly? Oh, and its not blinking anymore.
it may be loose then. Check that first and it may solve it. make sure i tis plug in the correct way and not upside down.
Im not even going to mess with it anymore. It caused another problem! http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=57747
