I have been using Windows mostly and decided to buy a MAC book the other day. Well one of the reason I use my laptop for is to watch the security cameras at my business. Which the website requires ActiveX and I figure it might be design for Windows. Anyway, I set up the Mac and tried logging in to the security website and as expected the camera's videos doesn't load. I tried it with Mozilla and Chrome .. no luck either. So, I decide to install VMWARE fusion into the Mac and load Windows XP onto it. I"m just wondering have anyone don't this before? Because I cant seem to use the mouse pad properly on Windows. I can't "right" click or "double" click on files/icons. Do I need to make a change somewhere in the MAC OS settings?
I used VMware fusion just fine. I got rid of it because it is a major resource hog though, so I use bootcamp instead. If you're having trouble with hardware working in windows, chances are you need to run some kind of apple software/hardware integration utility... I know that one is used in bootcamp which basically helps all your apple stuff (mice, keyboards, touchpads) work in windows correctly.
Actually, everything is working fine in Windows in VMWARE but I cant get the mouse to work right. I can't double click on windows/icons/toolbars to open them like my Windows desktop. Do I need to configure the "mouse pad" setting somewhere? I cant even click on the start menue ... I have to click "ENTER" to open things in Windows in VMWARE
