    1. Does anyone feel JVG inspires any player to leave it on the court for him?

He may have with the knicks but in 2 yrs. . .i have not seen it here
The players seem hesitant and unsure

    2. Also - is our Offense Predictable. .. I think in terms of Football
if u know where the ball is going .. .does not matter how well
    they run the play

    3. How is our conditioning.. .. i think Steve and Cat's high energy covered JCG's physical demands on the team . . .they were high energy for 40+ minutes a game
This team does not have ANYONE than can do that it seems

    4. other teams seem to be gelling quicker than us .. that bothers me

    5. JVG seems to be trying to make the players fit a mold .. instead of molding the offense around them . . that bother me too

    6. oh yea.. . FIRE EWING . .. i am tired of him drawing a check for no d*mn reason . . . .

Right now I am most worried about x's and o's. How can a team with T-Mac and Yao suck so bad on offense? How come guards suck in JVG's system?

JVG, Obviously Comes from the Pat Riley School of Thought. I mean it's not all that Suprising, since he was assistan to riley with the knicks. Maybe the Supposed boot camps he runs are taking there toll on the players too early?.

Our Slow start can be attributed to many things, but my Theory is this team has no "rapor". on the court at times i get the feeling they dont know eachothers next move let alone where the ball is going next or to whom. maybe the Rox could have done more "Team Bonding " in the Offseason, so we would'nt be in such a mess right now?.

He would be better off coaching a college team, he's not a good brown noser.

Playing for Van Gundy has to absolutely SUCK! Does anyone really think he can inspire or motivate anyone? He is the most negative SOB I have seen in sports. After a while players probably learn to tune him out.

I also doubt he takes the time out in practice to teach someone like Boki the simple fundamentals of offensive basketball. Probably constantly b****es about defensive breakdowns.

    FIRE VAN GUNDY!

I unfortunatley have tix to Tuesday's game against the Pistons. Anyone want to help me come with a sign...something about Van Gundy.

    So far I am thinking:

    Fire Van Gundy!
    Van Gundy Ball SUCKS!
    Van Gundy Sucks!

has ANY player IMPROVED on his watch?
has any player DEVELOPED in his care

I think he is best with pre-developed Vets

    River,

I concur, but worse than that, is that he has brought in some WAY over the hill vets.

JV Grumpy is the biggest problem with the Rockets, instead of playing to each person's particular skill set, he tries to shoe horn players into rolls that HE is comfortable with....bad coaching.

Yao is pretty effed up now. I don't think TMac has ever put up a 1 for 11 night since probably his rookie days.

JVG has turned what is a game into work. Basketball should not be like doing taxes. Players shouldn't be getting headaches in the court trying to think what JVG wants him to do next.

    Steve: what's up Yao?
    Yao: I'm effed up
Steve: you playing like **** now man. you gotta get out of there.
    Yao: for real?
    Steve: yeah

Allan Houston developed into a salary albatross under his watch. I think Houston may have regressed into being a place free agents will avoid with JVG at the helm. Forget what is happening to Yao. Yao isn't part of the NBA elite. TMac is a NBA superstar, and the guy is putting up stats like a scrub sometimes under JVG.

There's no sugarcoating that Yao is pretty much like crap now, but JVG is indeed not having any flexibility in using Yao.

Steve: is JVG using any of your ideas on how to play?
    Yao: no he isn't
    Steve: what's up with that?
    Yao: he is very stubborn
Steve: tell Napoleon to step off
Yao: I will be his Waterloo
