at then end of the interview he said that LA will be dangerous in the playoff and are being overlooked....along with the ROCKETS, "anytime you have two players like the rockets have, either of those guys could beat you by themselves, so you have to watch out" from the logo himself nothing we didnt know, just good to see some people are recognizing our team, just hope it doesnt get out of hand and we start to believe it too much
no way we will play the LA in first round. Jazz are gear up for playing LA or us. I can't believe no one is looking at schedule when they make these "top teams" rankings. The Rockets have the EASIEST schedule for the next month and a 1/2 that I have ever seen. It is honestly a joke and the Rockets should go 14-3 AT WORST. Rockets will pass the Spurs by the end of this because they are about to hit murders row on this Rodeo Road Trip (absolutely scary road trip), and by the time the Rockets have passed them Yao will hopefully be back and we can hold on to the 3 spot. Matchup come playoff time: Suns vs. Clips (1 vs 8) Mavs vs. Nuggets (2 vs 7) (Ya I am not buying into this AI, Melo thing, from what I have seen AI has not helped his team win that often (outside a couple of his years in Philly) and I don't see the Nuggets as better than an average team.) Houston vs. Lakers (ugh, tough matchup but hopefully we can win it) Spurs vs. Jazz (dont care who wins honestly as long as team that can win here can beat Suns too ). Yea just my 2 cents.

OK, guys, mark this post, this is how things are going to go and nobody, nobody can see it yet. Phoenix and Dallas will be 1-2 Rockets will be 3 Nuggets and Jazz will be 5-6 or 6-5 record-wise, doesn't matter, however, since one of them will be a division champ they will get the 4 seed and the other one will get the 6th seed. San Antonio will be 3 Lakers will be 7 Clips will be 8 Now, here's where it gets very interesting. Both Dallas AND Phoenix will LOSE in the first round. This will be the biggest upheaval in NBA playoff history and will be talked about for years. Clips basically HAD the Suns last year, you think Dunleavy is putting Daniel Ewing on Raja Bell again? They have been messing around, however, once the playoffs come, Clipps will get on top, they are the same team as last year, except that Tim Thomas is now a Clipper and not a Sun. As for Lakers-Mavs, here's the key: Dirk is mentally weak. Phil is mentally strong. Phil will get into Dirk's head. Phil will make Dirk doubt himself, hesitate, yell at teammates and self-destruct. Phil knows the best mindgames, Dirk is a simple German peasant, he doesn't know mind games. We know that Ryan Bowen (that's right Ryan Bowen) got into his head. We know that the Suns got into his head. We know that Riley got into his head. The playoffs are all about mind games, he can stroke that beautiful jumper in the reg. season, however, the playoffs are different story. So, do you get it now? The Houston Rockets will be the highest seed after the first round. We'll be playing the Lakers. The Spurs will be playing the Clippers. You heard it here first.
when i saw the title, i thought it meant "playing" the rockets on the trade..... so far it has worked out ok
the last place any of us will hear it too.... that's not going to happen. you forget that, if dirk is struggling, dallas still has terry, and howard. and phoenix is a stronger team this year than last, while the clippers are the same team.
I don't care who we get in the first round as long as its not the Suns and Mavs, just so we can at least get past the first round and break T-mac's curse. After T-mac's curse is mentally gone, then I don't care if we face the Suns or Mavs.
