Insider: Jackson deal almost official New York's Scott Layden and Jeff Van Gundy on Oct. 4 put an end to all rumors that point guard Charlie Ward is on his way out, presumably to Golden State. That is a big relief to Rockets fans, who were sweating an earlier Peter Vecsey report that the Knicks were trying to land one of the Warriors' big men by dangling Ward, thus clearing the way for the Warriors to match Marc Jackson's offer sheet with the Rockets, reports ESPN The Insider. Sources close to the Warriors have told Insider that they will not match the offer if they cannot move one of their big men. The Rockets did not disclose details, but according to The Houston Chronicle, Jackson will join the team after signing a six-year, $24.37 million contract.
I think someone beat you to it by about 3 days http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22918
Mobley and Langhi are out for first Preseason... http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/story.hts/sports/bk/bkn/1079728
i cant imagine Mobley playing a lick until he is 110%...no need to risk anything....if anything, itll give damon jones some time to get acquainted with the offense
Oh, nooooo! If that is so, Mobley will never play again since 110% is an impossibility (fixed whole scenario).
Nwankwo won my support this morning when I read a quote from him that he was going to give "100 percent." That guy knows his math!
that is 110% not true. . . i read somewhere on the internet that 110 percent is actually 11 percent so it must be true na . . . Rocket River
Do you think that Mobley got hurt because it's what Cato said about him, "He's crazy..he plays basketball all the time!" So, Cat gets hurt because he plays all the time and Cato gets hurt because he hardly plays!
Cat is just laying in the weeds. He's already at game speed, so he is letting the other potential two guards duke it out to see who makes the roster. As for Cato, sitting on the pine with an injury is the ony time he can crack a smile! And JuanValdez, it's good to see we have at least one center who knows math!
Oscar Torres???? Maybe Jones will start at point with Francis moving over to SG... There aren't too many options.
Man, that OU-Tx. gome has me completely off. (we won tough! woohoo! ) Can someone please tell me exactly what date Jackson will be ours if GS doesn't put up a counter offer again?
