Hey guys. I just thought this was interesting so i m sharing. I was at Chicago just last week. My cousin happens to be Tyson Chandler; he was down there for photo shoots with magazines and such so he invited me down to hang out with him. We stayed at the Wyndham hotel in chicago and Eddy Curry dropped by at our room for some PS 2 action(Tyson and Eddy along with the other ballers were shooting of either Hoops or Slam Magazine, i forget. Anyways, Eddy and Tyson got to talkin about who they wanted to be drafted by. And both of them said they wanted to play for Clippers. . . Clippers have come a long way in terms of their rep. Eddy wants to play with Darius Miles and Quentin cause they all tight like that, while Tyson just wants to stay close to home and Clips his favorite team anyway. Then i brought up the Rockets to both of them, cause Rockets are MY TEAM. Both them guys majorly dissed on the Rockets' goofey jersey, saying thats one big reason that they dont wanna come to houston ( i think they were joking). But most importantly, Eddy mentioned that as much as he likes watching Cat and Franchise, he didnt think they were the type of guards that passed much. And that if he came here, Cat and Franchise would be the primary offense and his post game would suffer. He was saying how he wanted to play with a team like Orlando who has McGrady/Hill/Armstrong that looked for the Assists or LA with Lamar Odoms who passes a lot too. So yeah, just some interesting info. i really hope ROckets draft my cuzz Tyson with their 13 IF he falls that low. Tyson is worried that his stock be fallin recently cause people be doubtin his abilities. But i told him if he come to Rockets, he coudl get us ready for the playoffs. ------------------

From what I understand, (this was said by someone in another thread as well) they only test the prospects by seeing how many times they can lift 185 lbs. ------------------
yeah they test how many times they can lift a specified weight.. Tyson only lifted 185 twice. ------------------
Curry would look pretty bad in the widestripe pajamas. vertical lines are supposed to make you look thinner but that didn't work for Thomas Hamilton or Stanley Roberts. ------------------
I'm not impressed with Curry, he's big but from what I read no one is amazed by him like compared to Kwame Brown. I hear he's a hard worker and is constantly getting better. I've also heard Tyson is falling but I don't think he'll fall to the #13 pick. We need to fill in spots not take young HS players(we are already too young). I think its obvious why they want to go to the Clippers, not b/c of the team(coaches, yada..yada..) but b/c they know alot of the players. I hope we just bring in guys that will help this team get better. I prefer what the Rockets usually bring in seniors or above avg. talent and can help now not 2-3 yrs. from now.... ------------------

I can see why players want to go to the Clips. They're young and uptempo, on the rise. And when Donald Sterling lowballs each of them, their internship will be over and they can go to a team of their liking. Seems perfect to me. ------------------

I would compare the Clips to Cisco. Cisco was doing awesome while the whole DSP and Networking industry was booming, but now they suck. If Chandler falls to 13, Rudy will be an idiot if he passes. Tyson is an excellent talent, and will be a great player. It will take him a while to get stronger and NBA-ready, but when he is, he'll be awesome. I think Curry has awesome potential, but that ATL draft report has gotten me a bit soured on him. He sounds like he's got a lack of work ethic. Kindof like Thomas Hamilton.
