Welcome everyone with the second edition of the Inside the Rockets with ai_111!!!
Last time, I told you guys that in the next episode, I will interview someone and yes I have interview someone and that person is Randyroxan.

Lets see what the Rockets did last week:
    March 08- vs New Orleans W 106-96
    T-Mac: 41pts, 9 ass, 6rbs
    Paul: 37pts, 11 ass

That game was probably the most exciting game of the week. The Rockets played very well in that game and T-Mac was like  . He played with a big heart and one thing is now clear, Hornets cant stop T-mac. Alston also played well. The 3 points shooting was great. They didn't have David West and we didnt have Landry. (Yao doesnt count cuz he is out for the season, we wont have him in the playoffs and NOH can have West in the Playoffs), but Hayes step up big. Overall, that was a great game for the Rockets.
Rockets performance (Out of 10): 8

    March 10- vs New Jersey W 91-73
    T-Mac: 19pts, 4rbs, 4 ast
    Carter: 13 pts, 8rbs

That was a boring game. The Rockets were sleeping, they didnt put lot of energy. It s maybe because they were leading by like 20 points. Novak was good. He hit 3 three s and scored 11 in 18 minutes. The defense win us the game.
    Rockets performance: 5

    March 12-@ Atlanta W 83-75
    T-mac: 28 pts, 9 rbs
    SMith: 16 pts: 22 rbs

That was an horrible offensive game. We shot 33% for the field and 6-29 for the 3. Alston 3-18 and T-Mac 10-28. We didnt have Landry and Scola was in foul trouble for the most of the game. Hayes played well. The defense win us the game. In the second half, T-Mac was big.
    Rockets performance: 5.5

    March 14- vs Charlotte W 89-80
    T-Mac: 30 pts, 7 rbs, 4 ast
    Richardson: 28 pts, 8 rbs, 5 ast

After the ugly first half, the Rockets played with heart and energy. T-Mac and Scola were the key. Alston will have to play well next game. Deke was good in D.
    Rockets performance: 7

Now lets take a look at the Rockets schedule for next week:
Sun 16 vs LA Lakers (W)
    Tue 18 vs Boston (L)
    Wed 19 @ New Orleans (W)
    Fri 21 @ Golden State (W)
    Sat 22 @ Phoenix (W)

    (These are RandyRoxan s predicitions)
That s probably the most exciting, hardest week of the Rockets this year.
What I dont like in that, it s that we have two back2backs. One of them, road games and vs GOS and Pho. It s going to be hard. Well, I think that we could beat the Celtics, Lal. Well the other three, I dont know cuz we are back2back and even if we lose, that wont mean that we are worse team than them.

NOw lets talk about tomorrow s game: Vs Lakers
First, I asked RandyRoxan what was the key for the game and he said:
RandyRoxan: They need to keep the tempo that they have shown these past games. It will be a pumped up and exciting game, but they must maintain the composure,...meaning the turnovers must be minimized. The defensive intensity is the key from the get go...
Who do you think that will win the game?
    ROckets

Well I think the keys are going to be these 2.
They are going to be crazy tomorrow!!! Their teams are tie for the first place in the west!!! T-mac have been play so well and I except him to be big tomorrow. Alston will have to play well. He have been horrible last two games. Good news for the Rockets is that Landry will likely play tomorrow and Gasol may not (I wanted him to play).
    That one should be good.

Now lets take a look at Rockets s player of the Week:
T-mac have been playing like the way he did in Orlando. With a big hear, energy and he s very motivated.

Here s some questions that I have asked for RandyRoxan:

    a) fave Rockets player right now?... T-Mac!
    b) Rate the clutchfans site out of 10...10
    c) Kobe or Lebron... Lebron
    d) Aldelman coach of the year?...Yes.
    e) Top 5 NBA players right now...Lebron, T-Mac, Kobe, Garnett, Ginoblli
    f) Rockets without Yao or Rockets without T-Mac ( Which one is better for our team) without Yao...

If you would like to get interview next week, send me an email:
    t_mac_0111@hotmail.com

    See you guys next week!!!

as much as i hate to be a downer... again, this is very average and not really worth its own thread every week. you have to be insightful, witty and tell us something we did/do not know. right now it just does not have much credibility and comes across as just an average fan's opinion (not someone who knows the game, the rockets, or inside the numbers). again, it was pretty boring. sorry man but nice try.

the only thing i liked and what i thought was on point, was the randyroxan's key to the game.

i am wondering how old the original poster is...

If you don't like it don't read it. This thread doesn't even come close to some of the crap that shows up on the GARM on a daily basis.

    I agree with rusHour.

Save the comments like "make your own if you can do better". While I assure you I (and most others here) could, why bother? The thread itself doesn't bring anything to the table that you can't already find in the GARM. That is what the GARM is for after all. If posted on a general NBA board it would at least make sense.

I also find it funny how people only want to hear what you have to say when it's complimentary. rusHour didn't like it, so he told the guy why.

This is unnecessary because every little thing in this "article" fits in threads already made. Each of his breakdowns of previous games could go in the relevant "post game" threads.

The predictions go in game threads that are made for each game.

If he wants to write a collumn, he can email Clutch and see if he'll let him post an article on the main site.

was this written for a middle school journalism class? if so, the writer could get a B+, maybe even an A-.

    for clutchfans.net, it gets a D-

it's unnecessary, amateurish, and a tad bit self-centered.

the poster really wants to make threads that will be considered masterpieces among cf.net history.

    unfortunately they are not.

    that is all.

edit: one minute after I wrote this, this thread appeared in the GARM

Forums like this are a great way to work on your communication/writing skills.

People here are anonymous so they aren't afraid to tell you what they think, so you can get good feedback.

Just read what people have to say and you can agree or disagree, but always learn from it.

Your post had good organization and pictures, but you need to have something more original to say. That kind of talent isn't always natural, you have to keep working, keep reading and writing. Listen to what others say, but don't dwell on it or allow it to demoralize you.
