I'd like to post this for you idiots who can't listen. John Thompson: Do you believe its different? Sam:Yes when you look in the arena and see all the retired jerseys and banners thats big but the championships i won in houston was sweet, it was the first championships in the city of houston in any sport. but thats huge for the city of houston but to win a championship in boston, that's gotta be something crazy
Thank you for the clarification, tinman. You are the number one defender of the faith. It's very sad how people will go out of their way to denounce true Rocket Heroes to try and make the flavor of the month players look better.
the word "BETTER" was NEVER USED in that interview. And Sam says "PEOPLE IN BOSTON SAY TO ME.." I've never put anyone on my ignore list, but posting completely false information might do it..
THE REAL SAM INTERVIEW. Please visit this link to view : http://broadband.nba.com/cc/playa.p...a/nba/nbacom/tnt/inside/tnt_inside_080306.asx
Thanks for the correction Tinman. I grew up watching those teams and someone soiled that for a brief period of time. All that said, I still hope Rafer eats his lunch on the 18th.
Hey tinman, which point guard you be rooting for when the Rockets face the Celts? Rafer Alston, or legendary Rockets hero Sam Cassell? Man, that must be tough on you.
It seams like every time you make a thread teaching/defending Rockets history someone shows up to question your Rockets fanhood. I admit to sometimes questioning some of your techniques. Questioning your loyalty to the Rockets is tantamount to questioning if the pope is Catholic, as they say.
LOL. Sam used so many "buts" I can't even follow his logic. tinman, just wondering... he said the Houston championship was "sweet" and a Boston championship would be "crazy." So how is "sweet" compared to "crazy"? Honestly, would you rather Sam used the two words the other way around?
oh you know what the difference between DID and DID NOT right? you guys are losers. what is going to say? "John Thompson, I don't want to win anymore championships, I won enough in Houston".
according to your r****dedness, its means " I hate Tmac and I hate Yao and I hate the city of Houston where I live and won two championships" Also it means "I didn't listen to the entire interview when Sam is praising the two championships in houston and Hakeem"
doesn't matter if he switched words. idiots on this board would still think he's bashing the city of Houston. I mean if Sam says he thinks the Strip Clubs in Houston are "SWEET" and the strip clubs in Boston are "CRAZY", then would hundreds of Houston Strippers quit their job in protest?
thanks! I posted in the false thread, that I'm willing to bet $50 for the tipjar with CLUTCH being the judge of the Video Evidence that Sam never said Boston > Houston. Of Course, these idiots won't bet me cause they know they are wrong.
I'm a Houstonian, and even I think there's a HUGE difference between winning a championship in New York or Boston and one in Houston. Unfortunate as it sounds, it's the truth. I seriously don't think Sam was discounting the Houston titles. But, the atmosphere and aura of winning a title in NY or Boston is different no matter what sport it is.
