IMO, this show has had it's golden years maybe about 7 or 8 years ago with great nights of comedy filled with: Barkley kissing the Donkey Barkley racing Bavetta Everyone tracking Barkley's weight gain It's sort of been in a lull the last few years with moments of true hilarity few and far between. Even Kenny going gay over TO's body wasn't as funny to me as it was to Ernie and Charles. Yeah ever since the playoffs started, they've been golden with comedy. Tonight's show was hilarious with Craig Sager... couldn't stop laughing.
the Sager skit had me rollin, not for the skit itself, but the reaction of all 4 of them Weber "They let yall waste film taping that segment???"
Yeah, it's the unintended comedy that's golden. Sager's thigh shots and his horrible acting is great for that show.
I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEE Inside the NBA. EJ, Kenny and Charles is the perfect trio of all time. OF ALL TIME! It's not the same when one of them is missing and I don't like it when they have C-Webb on the show. My favorite moment this year was when they were clowning on Jamarcus Russell and his bling. And they started going off on this tangent about rims on cars and Kenny said something like if you gotta put rims on your car ... you're driving the wrong car. LOL.
I actually think C-Webb adds a lot to the show. He's the best out of anyone else who ever sat in that 4th seat, i.e. Magic. C-Webb has the funniest laugh. He's funny, meshes well with their humor, and has some good insight into the game too.
Ones a company two's a crowd three's a party. While I agree C-webb is the best out of anyone else in the 4th seat... the 4th seat is unnecessary. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Agreed- some people just have natural chemistry- those three definitely have it. C-Webb's fine- as long as they don't bring Magic and Reggie Miller on- can you say, "blech!!" It's a perfect combo- Kenny's got the rings, Chuck's got the Hall of Fame, Ernie's the moderator. Hopefully they'll put out a Best Of.. DVD one of these days.
Inside the NBA is the best NBA show on TV. Maybe when Shaq retires, could anyone really go well with this group.
I normally don't get into comedy when it involves sports, but Inside the NBA is on a roll right now. It is the only "talking head" sports show I will watch. I strongly dislike Charles Barkley but he plays the perfect buffoon character (who says something that makes sense every now and then) perfectly for the other two to lampoon. Craig Sager's piece on the OKC hotel (and the way Ernie/Kenny/Charles made fun of it) was very good.
the question if charles likes brunettes or blondes was freakin epic and last night when he was trying to pronounce ndamukong suh's name was great
