There still seems to be a lot of animosity as a result of the OJ Simpson criminal trial. I personally felt a degree of macabre vindication and although I don't believe him completely innocent, I believe the jury did the right thing.

    Are you still pissed?

What do you think he is partially guilty of?

It would be interesting to go back in time and retry him without it being on TV.

Do you think his older son was involved?

I don't know. I wasn't even a teenager when that trial happened, so I can't remember most of it, except for the jokes on SNL. I don't have a definate answer to whether he is innocent or guilty, but I do believe that the LA Police screwed up big time with their shannigans. What was the name of that racist cop who writes books now? What's the evidence that people point to when they try to prove his guilt in arguments?

Uh, the guy got away with killing two people.

    He deserves to die, painfully.

I think he'll pay for what he did, now or later, so no I'm not pissed. I know others who are.

    Sorry AB,
Maybe I didn't follow it closely enough to have a deeply-held opinion, but the DNA evidence (for a science nerd like me) was just too strong. I just don't by the conspiracy theories of blood handling to be "reasonable" doubt. That's just me though, and I have never spent a day as anything other than lilly-white in this country. At any rate, I'm not that pissed. Whatever. Rich person hires legal juggernaut -- happens all the time.

    The whole situation is corrupt.

OJ bought his freedom. Yeah I'm still pissed about it. I think that is horse****.

Exactly, he is guilty as sin, but if you have enough money you can find a slip up somewhere to get off. Problem is most people don't have $5M to pay attorneys.

No offense AB, but I would bet anything that he was there when it happened. Don't know for sure if he did it but there is too much evidence vs. him.

Were people as outraged about Charles Lindbergh?

I take no offense in your responses, I haven't killed anyone.

    Double post, sorry.

The LAPD had absolute power, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Because of their non-objective approach we may never know the truth.

Most of you here know my low opinion of police officers, but even I know OJ did it. Even those that I talk to that are glad he got off aren't glad because they thought he didn't do it, they are glad because it sent a big fat middle finger to the LAPD.

Still pissed? Nah. She was a gold-digging coke-w****. Her getting killed doesn't bother me one bit. Kind of a shame Goldman had to get whacked though, he was just a youngster.
