Injured list vs. Inactive list

    What is the difference? My take is that if you get on the injured list, you have to stay on it for at least five games. With the new inactive list, you can be activated any time. Am I right?

    correct - 1 hour before the game the inactive list is decided by the coach.

    Yup. And you don't have to make up phony injuries anymore. We might never have an NBA player come down with planter fascitis (sp?) again.

    umm, buddy, plantar fascitis is a painful injury. that's, like, for real. when shaq or joe johnson or kobe or whoever is held out of games b/c of it, it's not b/c it's a fake injury.

    but yeah, i agree with you. no more 'sprained toe' or 'sprained elbow' or 'bruised shoulder' business.
